Welcome to Coach Kay Online website!
My name is Dr Kayla-Teri Hofer! I am a Certified Life Coach, Reiki Master/Teacher, Herbalist and Metaphysician with Doctoral Degree in Philosophy, specializing in Metaphysical Sciences.
I have recently begun to explore ways to work remotely as a coach, with online consultations, hosting a podcast and creating personalised coaching programs. I am currently in the process of immigrating permanently to Europe, in search of my forever home and workspace. I wish to find a stable, peaceful, consistent environment to practice from as a coach and therapist in the near future.

Herbal Remedies

It is one of the oldest forms of medicine, dating back thousands of years, and has been practiced by various cultures around the world.

Metaphysics is the study of reality, existence and human consciousness. It studies what we are and what our purpose is. Aristotle formally explored fundamental questions of metaphysics with topics about our existence, why we are here, what purpose do we serve.
Metaphysics adds a level of conceptual rigor and clarity that can only improve the steadfastness of our knowledge: it is not here to compete with or replace any other fields, it is here as a necessary supplement to them in our quest for truth about reality.
Metaphysics is cardinal in the history and philosophy of education. It helps us understand man in all aspects of life. In the learning environment, the educator will be able to have an understanding of the learner's strengths and weaknesses, understand the circumstances and changes that take place in educational settings.
A metaphysical practitioner usually has a PhD in holistic healing and use a variety of techniques to help us heal at a spiritual level. The spirit work helps you relax your mind and body, creating a deeper connection with that which is bigger than ourselves. This, in turn, helps you improve your body's healing abilities and improve your relationships with others.
A metaphysical doctor knows a variety of tools to help heal. Seeing a metaphysical doctor in addition to your medical doctor can be very useful when you want wellness for your whole being focusing in on body, mind and spirit.
Reiki Energy Healing
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing, a type of alternative medicine. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a "universal energy" is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing. Most clients feel a sense of relaxation and peace.
During a healing, the mind may feel calm and your physical body should feel relaxed. Reiki is so relaxing that sometimes clients may fall asleep during the session. Don't worry though, you will still receive all of the benefits of the session, sleeping or awake .
Why Reiki? At times, you might be finding it takes much longer to get simple tasks done, with your brain working slower than usual, or you're finding yourself confused without a clear line of thought. These symptoms are often a sign of an emotional or spiritual disturbance that can manifest on a physical level- Reiki can help with that. In 2021, a systematic review concluded that Reiki is an effective therapy for anxiety, depression, and stress. Reiki is meant to resolve emotional distress by allowing healing energy to flow freely throughout the body's energy centers(Chakras), which results in relaxation and reduced pain and tension throughout the body. Resolving stress and anxiety can decrease pain perception as well.
What is Reiki used to treat? Reiki practice may help with a variety of physical and emotional problems, including insomnia, stress, depression, anxiety, and pain. Research suggests that Reiki may lower pain in people undergoing surgery and ease stress during palliative care .
